The
Lady Elizabeth School is an Independent
Coeducational Day School for pupils from 3- 18 years.
The Secondary Department enjoys impressive facilities including, Science Laboratories, Electronic Music Studio, Dance Studio, Two Computer Suites, Art Room, Textile and Fashion Studio, Food Science Kitchen, Library,Media Studies Suite, Gym, Swimming Pool, Hard Court Games Areas, Theatre and Cafeteria. The School Name The School is named after Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, who, before her marriage, was The Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. In 1987, The Queen Mother gave permission for the new school to bear her name. In September 1988, to mark its first anniversary, she kindly presented the school with a portrait of herself, which can be seen in the reception area at Lliber. Location Situated on the northern Costa Blanca, mid-way between Alicante to the South and Valencia to the North,the Secondary School is located in Lliber, close to the A7 motorway. The Junior School is situated on a large enclosed site close to Javea. Communication with neighbouring towns is good, with Alicante and Valencia airports approximately an hour away. |
