Authorisation The Lady Elizabeth School is inspected regularly by both the British and Spanish authorities and is fully authorized to exist in Spain and to offer the British National Curriculum to pupils of all nationalities. It has "homologacion" with the Spanish system to accept Spanish nationals and to offer the three obligatory elements of the Spanish Curriculum in the ESO and the full programme of the Spanish Bachillerato. Studies at The Lady Elizabeth School can therefore be recognized for transfer to the Spanish system or to schools worldwide.
Examination Centre Status The school is a regional examination centre for CIE, Cambridge International Examinations Board, EDEXCEL AND AQA examination boards. The Royal Society of Arts (RSA) The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, London The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) In addition pupils may also use the school as an examination centre for Common Entrance examinations at ages 11, 12 and 13 for entry to schools worldwide. Through the school the pupils may also attempt the ASA swimming awards and BAGA gymnastic awards.

The Spanish Bachillerato The Spanish Bachillerato is a two year programme delivered in full by specialist staff. Both programs are on offer: Pure Sciences and Social Sciences to prepare students for 'Selectividad'. Students sit the UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia) exam to gain entrance to Spanish Universities. The results so far have been excellent. The programme of study will change after 2003 to comply with the new Spanish Law of Education.
