The Red House from LAUDE, The Lady Elizabeth Senior School organised several events for Valentine’s Day. Hearts and roses packages, which consisted of a homemade brownie, a rose and a card, were sold and delivered on the day. Extra special deliveries included a beautiful long stemmed red rose, heart shaped brownies and a tea light candle in a lovely candle holder. A beautiful Valentine’s Day hamper containing chocolates, a cuddly toy, roses, a novelty pen, a cup and heart shaped candles along with many more things, was raffled at break time on Valentine’s Day. Caretaker, Mr Welfoot, was delighted to be the winner of the hamper. It was also a non-uniform day, where students dressed up in red to represent the day of romance. Red House continued with their endeavours to raise money for the combined School charities by holding a cake stall on the Friday after Valentine’s Day, the last day before half term. In total, an incredible 1400 Euros was raised! Well done Red House for all of your efforts and also to all of the students, parents and staff for their support. |
