As part of their GCSE course, Year 11 Geography students from LAUDE, The Lady Elizabeth School visited the township of Benissa. During the morning they collected data that they would need to make comparisons of two different areas of a settlement, in this case the new and the old part of the town. They investigated land use and building heights, collected data on maps, undertook environmental surveys and made traffic and shopping counts. The information will be used in the following weeks to complete their controlled assessment as part of their GCSE studies in Geography.
