Laude The Lady Elizabeth School

LAUDE The Lady Elizabeth School offers after school clubs in volleyball, football, swimming and karate.

Every February there is a ski trip to Andorra.

SKI TRIP 2010

Four staff and forty students from LAUDE The Lady Elizabeth School had an amazing time on the ski slopes in Andora over half term.

With expert tuition all morning and supervised skiing in the afternoon, the skill levels of all skiers improved dramatically throughout the week. The standard of the ‘top’ group was fantastic and it was great to see so many students ski at such a high level. Many have been skiing from an early age and demonstrated maneuvers on a par with some instructors.

Yago Escrivá received top marks in his ‘A’ Level practical examination and Maria Manzanares and Kayleigh Franks also did extremely well in their GCSE practical assessment.

A friendly positive attitude was displayed by everyone with the different age groups gelling perfectly to create a wonderful atmosphere whilst skiing and in the hotel at the end of the day.

Thank you to Mrs Lovell and Sr Martin for organising such a great experience. Thank you also to Teresa Martinez and Sra Catala for their assistance in supervision. Everyone is looking forward to the next trip.
